Consequences of the Use of a High-Explosive Aerial Bomb
Until recently, the abbreviation “FAB” could only be deciphered by military professionals or war experts. Unfortunately, that has now changed…
A general-purpose aerial bomb with a high-explosive warhead (FAB) is one of the most destructive types of munitions used by Russia in its war against Ukraine. The devastation caused by such explosions can be immense. The lightest bombs of this type weigh around 60 kg, while the heaviest can reach nearly 10,000 kg.
Another trace of the use of this weapon by Russian aggressors—this time a FAB-500—has been left on the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Kharkiv region. Until recently, this facility was a place of active work. Today, all that remains is a crater approximately 50 meters in diameter, along with the wreckage of destroyed machinery and farm buildings.
