Ukraine is set to demine more than a third of its planned agricultural land this year.
Ukraine plans to return to operation more than a third of agricultural land out of 470 thousand hectares designated for priority demining this year, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko reported.
According to her, the government is working to strengthen the capabilities of demining operators. In particular, an account has been opened on the platform in support of Ukraine "United24", the funds from which will be directed specifically to humanitarian demining.
Ukraine is set to return to operation this year up to 35% of agricultural land out of 470 thousand hectares designated for priority demining. To speed up the cleaning of the territory - and in total, more than 170 thousand square kilometers of our country are potentially contaminated, Svyrydenko reported.
